The Tom O’Connor Inaugural Golf Day
Tom O’Connor was amazing Patron and long term supporter of our charity, so it was only fitting that we held a Golf Competition in his memory. We were delighted to be joined by many members of his family, including his widow Pat, daughter Helen and son Steven.
West Hill GC hosted the Golf Day and we were lucky enough to be given a day filled with wall to wall sunshine. The course was immaculate and all our teams commented on the delicious food, that was served to our teams!
Tom’s family entered a team, which included Steven and his wife Denise. Pat came along in the buggy, with Helen and watched them play. Tom would have been delighted!
It was a very successful day, with a amount well over £6,000 raised for our charity!
The winning team was Woodend Removals, who played a corker of a round. Congratulations go to team Captain Roger Hastings!
