Poppy’s New Trike
Poppy’s new trike made a visit to school this week and the weather held out for some indoor and outdoor cycling.
Poppy is now able to pedal independently and only requires minimal assistance on slopes. She is also working on her steering.
At school they have an “Get Active Day” every half term where we walk, run, cycle, self-propel in wheelchairs around the school. This shows Poppy getting in some practice this week before the Big Day next week :+)
Poppy is working hard alongside her teachers and physios to improve her cycling skills before the trike goes home again for some Summer family fun!
Great to see Poppy having fun on her new Trike, thanks to our generous supporters, we continue to change the lives of Special needs children and bring smiles, laughter and independence!
