Florida 2024 – Day 6

After a breakfast at home we left early at 9.30am to go to Sea World. Tom was a bit confused by the lorry in front of us!!!!

We were first on the Kraken a high speed roller coaster 🎢. Everybody really enjoyed it.

After the shock of the first ride had worn off we went on to some more mega roller coasters, Manta a roller coaster that offers spine-tingling thrills and reaches top speeds of 56 miles per hour over 3,359 feet, and Mako a 200 foot high coaster that speeds up to 73 miles per hour. You feel like you’re flying.

We were lucky enough to be able to go to the Orca show to see the killer whales 🐳 perform some magical tricks. They are absolutely magnificent creatures, so powerful but graceful for their size. We all sat at the front and got soaking wet. Much needed as the weather is fantastic and scorching hot 🥵.

We had our lunch , then went on even more roller coaster rides. Penguin 🐧 Trek and then the penguin expedition.

We then went on to see the dolphins 🐬 show. Another fantastic experience where we were able to see lots of dolphins performing their unique tricks. As we were all soaking wet again it seemed a good time to go on Atlantis a huge boat roller coaster where you get soaking wet, it was fantastic. We managed to fit in our last ride of the day Pipeline, a surf board roller coaster that you stand up on it was great.

After the Gordnav went a bit haywire, taking us on different roads that had changed, we were able to recover and found our way to the BUCA de BEPPO Italian Restaurant. We were greeted by the friendly manager and staff.

The food was out of this world with the biggest portions to share ever seen. It was sooo tasty 🤤, and filling there was so much we even had a doggie bag to take it home. There was warm bread with oil and balsamic vinegar dip, breaded mozzarella cheese triangles, and gigantic square pizzas. The biggest meat balls we’ve ever seen with spaghetti and sauce and a huge bowl of macaroni cheese. As if this wasn’t enough , three mahooosive bowls of chocolate and blondie cookies mixed in with scoops of chocolate and vanilla ice cream which was then smothered with spray cream and this was topped off with chocolate and caramel sauce and rainbow sprinkles!!!! These were devoured by everyone until we were fit to pop!!!!!
