Florida 2024 – Day 3

Everybody was up bright and early ready for 8am to go for the day at Discovery Cove.

We arrived on time for a lovely breakfast of multiple different dishes, from bacon and eggs to fruit and yogurt and pancakes with syrup.

After breakfast we were shown to our VIP cabana by Todd our personal guide for the day.

We relaxed for a while before going into the lazy river which winds its way through the vast area. You are transported through waterfalls and past lush green surroundings.

At 11.20 we had our safety briefing with our instructors, before they took us in two different groups to meet the dolphins 🐬.

All of the children were mesmerised, and the look of pure joy and happiness on their faces was fantastic to see.

They all touched the dolphins 🐬 and swam on their backs.

We returned to the cabana and went into the water wearing a snorkel and mask to swim amongst the sting rays and fish. There were also sharks behind a glass screen!!!!!🦈😱😮😲

We had a scrumptious lunch with a wide variety of delicious foods to choose from. The puddings were superb 🤤.

After relaxing and allowing our lunch time to go down we returned to our villas.

After everyone had taken a lovely shower and changed into clean clothes the games room got put to plenty of use and was enjoyable for everyone.

A relaxed evening was had by all of us.
