New Sensory Room

We would like to extend our deepest thanks for your generous support in funding the transformation of our sensory room. Thanks to your donation, we have been able to work with SpaceKraft to redesign this vital space into an accessible, interactive learning environment tailored specifically for our students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

This new sensory room is be a game-changer for our most complex learners, these are children who are currently unable to access traditional ICT resources. The equipment we have installed has been carefully chosen to ensure that every element can be accessed through touch, voice activation, or switch technology. This means that, for the first time, our pupils are able to engage with learning tools independently, without relying entirely on adult support.

This is more than just a room, it’s a gateway to opportunity. It aligns with our core values of promoting independence and high expectations for all our pupils. The new sensory space will allow us to deliver our bespoke ICT and computing curriculum in a way that is meaningful and inclusive. It will open up new avenues for communication, interaction, and exploration, giving our most complex learners the same rich educational experiences as their peers.
