East met West again on Monday night as we celebrated St Georges Day in style at the Beijing in Guildford. This is always a special night and 2016 was no exception! Tom O'Connor had us all in stitches with an impromptu performance that really rolled back the years. Elvis was 'not in the building' but Martin entertained the crowds with hits from the sixties and of course we all joined in with Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and Swing Low, finishing on CWSNF favourites Sweet Caroline and Viva Las Vegas!
As always a massive thank you to Mr Lui and the Beijing team. We couldn't do this night without your support, and of course your amazing food! In total we raised a fantastic £4000 for our special children with the live auction and raffle.
To round off a lovely evening a cake was brought out to celebrate Gordon's 70th birthday. Best wishes from the committee, patrons and all your loyal supporters.
See Gallery/Foundation Films for a short clip of the night.
