Florida Part Two!

What an amazing day in Universal! We met our guides Brian and Katrina, who showed us around the park today as VIP's! We started the rides, with the newly opened Hulk, which all the children loved and then headed to Spider-Man and a backlot tour. It was a unique opportunity for the children, to see how Spideman worked and the technology that went into making this ride such a great one!  A private meet & greet followed, with visits from Spideman, XMen & Captain America, up close! A delicious dinner was booked at the 3 Broomsticks in Hogwarts. The children tucked into ribs, chicken, salad and corn on the cob!

A ride on the Hogwarts express and the chance to go through the wall, at platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross Station, was very exciting, especially when the Dementors joined the train!! Our day was rounded off with some water rides, when everyone got very wet!! Still on a hot sunny day- no one minded!!

All the children loved the visit to the Raptors and having their photos taken - we didn't lose any children in the cage!!

What an amazing day we had! Sea World, saw the children watch shows featuring Dolphins and Parrots, Sea Lions and the Walrus and the famous Shamu Show with its Splash Zone! The brave ones, led by Tom & Gavin, rode 3 Roller Coasters, some of them more than once! Others headed off to feed the Sea lions and look at the Sting Ray Lagoon.  After a day filled with excitement,it was time to head home and get ready for Dinner at Bucca Di Beppo for an Italian dinner! Dinner at The Popes table, meant we were treated like VIP's. Everyone loved the pasta, Pizza and Meatballs! Our day was rounded off with a trip on the magical Orlando Eye. Time for bed now!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Today saw our group head off to The Magic Kingdom. We arrived mid -morning and went over to the park on the Mono-Rail. Our first stop was at Space Mountain, when the children were propelled into space on the roller coaster. Visits to The Haunted Mansion, The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Pirates of the Caribbean and finishing off with Splash Mountain, dinner at Tony's restaurant and a trip back across the lake on the paddle steamer! An action packed day and some very happy children! Just what we love to see!! Thank you to Caroline Butner, for all her help with our visit to Disney World.

Our last day at Universal was just brilliant! This group has set a new record with a total of 7 rides on The Rocket Roller Coaster! We went on so many rides, we lost count! The favourites of the day were The Mummy, Being Minionized, Men in Black and The Simpson Ride, where we then had the chance to meet Marge, Homer, Lisa & Bart. Everyone loved the VIP meet & greet with the Simpson family. Lunch was served in the La Bumba Restaurant, with the children having the choice of so many dishes, from Fish, Steak, Chicken, Pasta and some delicious desserts! Our guides Katrina & Brian had really bonded with the children. Giving them all the information around the park and making them feel so comfortable that they tried just about everything. Dinner tonight was at BB Kings Restaurant, thanks to Jimmy Carroll, for making the evening such great fun!

A very different day today, with an amazing ride on an Air Boat across the Everglades. The group saw alligators, an eagle and other birds and wildlife. After being whirled around the lakes, they headed over to the Sea LIfe Centre and Madam Tussauds. A few of the children had photos, taken with their favourite celebrities and then they had time to spend the $50 that the charity  had given them each at the shops. In the evening it was off to the Hard Rock Cafe for a VIP tour of the memorabilia. A unique  chance to see the Beatles room and then out onto the terrace for an evening view of city walk. Then we went into the music theatre and had our photos taken on the stage! Dinner in the restaurant was served in The Elvis Presley room and everyone tucked into a delicious dinner. Then home to bed for an early start for our last whole day at Legoland.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SUNDAY 25th SEPTEMBER

Our last whole day in Orlando gave the children the chance to visit Legoland and everyone had an amazing day! We started with a ride on the Island in the Sky, so we could all see across the park. A water ride called Chimera ensured that we all got wet and cooled off, before riding The dragon roller coaster! We visited Mini Village, with all the Lego models of Las Vegas, London, Daytona & New York. We had a delicious lunch before going to the Lgo driving school, where all the children passed their tests! We are so grateful to all at Legoland and Merlin Magic Wand. Our Fantastic guides for the day, Chelsey & Miashia, for making our visit extra special. We were also met at the park by Kylie, who gave all the children some fantastic gifts! After a long day in the main Legoland Park we all went over to the water park for some fun and to cool off. The children's final evening was spent at the house packing, before their journey back to the UK tomorrow afternoon.
