Melanie & Peter Gordon

Eagle Radio Breakfast Show Presenter, Peter Gordon (PG) was born in Guildford and has lived in the area for most of his life. He has been in radio since the late 80s after starting at his University station (in York) and working at the local BBC as a feature reporter, before returning to his roots in the South of England where he has worked in news, sport and music presentation for County Sound, Radio Mercury, 106.6 Star FM and 96.4 Eagle Radio. He has presented breakfast shows for more than twelve years, including his current breakfast show at Eagle Radio which is number one in the area within the commercial sector. Peter's guests have ranged from Ronan Keating and Rachel Stevens to Dame Edna Everage and the Hamiltons! Peter's varied interests have meant that he has also presented a diverse amount of radio programmes - from election specials to Ice Hockey! He is currently the Programme Director for 96.4 Eagle Radio and County Sound 1566mw.


He is also the Deputy Group Programme Director for UKRD (Eagle & County Sound's parent group), which runs more than a dozen radio stations across the UK. Peter has also made various TV appearances including ITV's The Village and British National Ice Hockey League. Peter's voice has been used on a variety of TV programmes (ITV, Tara TV Ireland). He also has done corporate voice work for companies including Toyota and the Gibraltar Tourist Board. Peter's panto appearances include appearing alongside Steve McFadden in Peter Pan and Linda Lusardi in Snow White at Wokings' New Victoria Theatre. He loves playing and watching live music, QPR F.C. and excuses to visit the seaside!
