FOXHILLS RAISE OVER £25,000
FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
A HUGE SUCCESS
Children with Special Needs Foundation is a local charity close to Foxhills heart. The Surrey based, family run luxury Country Club pleadged to raise money for worthy charity and boy did they!
Spring 2010 saw the sad passing of Foxhills dear Chairman Ian Hayton. After 15 years as a patron of the charity with his wife Pam; the Club lead by Marc Hayton (Managing Director & Son) pleadged to continue Ian’s legacy and commited to a calendar of events throughout the Summer.
Marc Hayton Managing Director of Foxhills has taken over the reins as Parton for the well deserving Surrey based charity and says:
“It is an honour to follow my father as a Patron of the Children with Special Needs Foundation. Like Dad I am humbled by the work the team do, especially Ann and the irrepressible Gordon Parris. These children are among the most deserving of our support and I know they are in great hands with Children with Special Needs.”
Foxhills has gone on to raise over £25,000 for the charity through a fun packed Members ‘Back to School’ Aerobathon supported by over 50 members on 15th May 2010. A special thanks has to go to Kerry Lagden and the Gym Team from Foxhills for their drive to raise over £1,500 for their event alone. The fundraising climax was the charities annual Golf Day back in May, where over 120 golfers joined Gordon Parris, MBE & fonder to raise even more.
