Dunston IT choose Children with Special Needs as their primary charity
On Monday 1st November 2010 the staff of Dunston IT welcomed one of Britain’s most accomplished quiz and game show hosts, Tom O’Connor, to their offices in Aldershot.
Tom O’Connor visited the IT Support and Training Company in his capacity as a Patron of the Children With Special Needs Foundation, to collect a cheque donation of £600.
Dunston IT has chosen Children with Special Needs Foundation as its primary charity and now make a regular donation just prior to the Christmas season as an alternative to sending out Christmas cards.
On receipt of the cheque, Tom O’Connor said “I’ve really enjoyed visiting Dunston IT and having a look at the training facilities available to businesses and the public. The donation is much appreciated and the money will be allocated to helping Children with Special Needs in North Hampshire.”
Malcolm Hearn, owner of Dunston IT, said “Having spoken to the voluntary helpers about the Charity’s aims, I was keen to introduce it to the staff within the office. It was a unanimous decision to support CWSN.”
Dunston IT will continue to support, promote and fundraise towards Children with Special Needs Foundation.
