Living Picture Books allow visually impaired children to enjoy and learn from the fun and excitement of pictures and words working together. They offer a free library service and will lend you a normal, popular, illustrated book with an exciting difference.

The main characters have been translated into raised images on plastic sheets. These are brightly coloured for the benefit of children with partial sight. The "feely" pages allow the children to experience the characters by touch. They also carry text in Braille.
