Running the London Marathon

James in his All Terrain Buggy

Last year the charity was delighted to help a young boy named James, we purchased him an All Terrain Buggy (see photo) this buggy is used instead of his wheelchair in rough terrain areas (perfect in our recent snowy conditions) we also purchased a tandem wheelchair bike which allows James to go out on bike rides with his family (see photo on justgiving website).  The cost for this specialist equipment was £7,000.

Now Paul his father is going to run the London Marathon to raise money for the Children With Special Needs Foundation as a thank you for the help we have given his family.

Paul all the committee and our special children wish you good luck with your training and of course we will be thinking of you when you run the marathon on 25th April 2010.

If you would like to make a donation and support Paul please visit the justgiving site as detailed below:-
