The Special Childrens' Holiday Home

Thanks to the sponsors of our Golf Day, the many businesses who contributed and the 35 teams who took part in the golf day, the charity was able to purchase a £35,000 8 berth mobile home now based at Pagham, near Chichester.

The 3 bedrooms have been named after the major sponsors of the golf day; Foxhills Country Club, Toshiba UK and Premier Group. The outside patio deck and furniture was sponsored by Waitrose Ltd and An Affair in the Field.

Shirley Ivil, the mobile homes reservation secretary, reported that the holiday home was fully booked from June to the end of the 2000 season. 2001 is already fully booked, so therefore this holiday home was a much needed facility for children with special needs and their families . Holidays are totally free of charge and there are excellent on-site facilities such as a childrens club, indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as other entertainment.
